2025 Spring Baseball League

Dates: April 14 to June 14

Practice and Game Date Information:

Ages 3-6 will practice on Mondays at either 4 or 5pm. Practices are 45 minutes long.
The week of May 26 only, ages 3-6 will practice on Tuesday, May 27th at either 4 or 5pm
Ages 7-8 will practice on Fridays at either 4 or 5:15pm. Practices are 1 hour long.
Games will take place on Saturdays at either 9:00am, 10:30am, 12:00pm, 1:30pm, or 3:00pm.
A final schedule will be sent the first week of April.

Cost: $150. The registration fee includes a jersey, hat, free membership to Dinger’s Kids Club, and an opportunity to be honored on the field before a Bells game.

Junior Bells League Celebration night at the Ballpark will be June 11th. Junior Bells players get free admission to the game, a pizza party on the deck, and you will be honored on the field during the game!

Ages: 3-8

Junior Bells players age groups will be the age of the child as of August 1 of the current year.
Ages 3-4: this age group will be coach toss with a tee available.
Ages 5-6: this age group will be coach toss.
Ages 7-8: this age group will be coach pitch.

Registration closes on March 31st.

Locations: Practices and games will take place primarily at Joe Martin Field. There are a few days where games and practices will take place at Geri Fields, Downer Fields, or Squalicum Field 3. This will be clearly marked on the schedule.

Cancellations and Extensions: If cancellations are made due to weather, games may or may not be rescheduled. Practices will not be rescheduled.

Please plan for the season to run through June 21st to accommodate make-up games.

Equipment: Players will need to have their own athletic shoes and glove. Players are encouraged to have their own bat and helmet, but we will provide bats and helmets for shared use if players do not have their own.

Refund Policy: Program fees are non-refundable unless authorized by the Program Director. If a participant needs to cancel, please reach out to [email protected]

Coaching: Coaches are volunteers and the Bells will provide coaches training from local baseball professionals. We will also provide coaching mentors and other resources.

Scholarship Information: The Junior Bells are committed to accessible baseball opportunities for youth athletes in Whatcom County. Consistent with that mission, we will provide scholarships for both the youth league and camps. All athletes are welcome to apply for financial assistance. However, the Junior Bells Development Program gives preference to families who qualify for reduced or free lunch from Bellingham Public Schools (see information here) or your respective school district.
